Global LNG Info has released the last update of the “World LNG Projects’ Status Monthly Report” also known as the globally-recognized-reference “World LNG Liquefaction Plants and Regasification Terminals Update List”.

The following LNG project(s) added to the Global LNG Database®:

* Tianjin (Nangang) LNG imports terminal's expansion project in China

|

By adding the new project(s), up-to-date information of 410 LNG projects in the world are available in the Global LNG Database® including 142 on/offshore liquefaction facilities (on-stream: 53, under-construction: 16, planned: 51, under-study/proposed: 22) and also 268 on/offshore receiving & regasification facilities (on-stream: 143, under-construction: 29, planned: 76, under-study/proposed: 20).

Some of the recent developments that added to the Global LNG Database®:

* Cameron LNG has entered the final commissioning stage for the Phase 1, three-train liquefaction-export project as it began introducing pipeline feed gas flow to the third and last liquefaction train.

|

* Pieridae Energy has delayed a final investment decision (FID) on its proposed Goldboro LNG export project due to depressed global LNG markets and the COVID-19 pandemic. The company was planning to make the FID this fall.

|

* Novatek would delay a final investment decision on its Obsky LNG export project.

|

* BP announced force majeure on its Tortue LNG project with Golar LNG, saying it would not be ready to receive the floating unit in 2022.

|

* Senboku-1 LNG imports terminal's second expansion project in Japan has been commissioned.

|

* BW LNG announced that work has started on a regasification module that will be installed onboard Gallina LNG carrier to be utilized for El Salvador’s first FSRU project.

|

* Boryeong LNG imports terminal's expansion project in S. Korea has been commissioned.

|

* Bahrain LNG announced that mechanical construction and commissioning of its LNG import terminal has been completed.
