Santos has announced that its Barossa gas-to-Darwin LNG project is 77% complete.
Santos has said that its Barossa gas-to-LNG project which will backfill the 3.7 MMT/Y Darwin LNG plant for up to 20 years, is 77% complete as pipelay of the project’s feedgas pipeline has been completed, the third well of the six well drill program was spudded,……
Santos has remarked that the Barossa project remains on target to commence production in the third quarter of 2025 and “within current cost guidance”.
Santos also continues to pursue its Bayu-Undan carbon capture and storage project, which would store up to 10 MMT/Y of CO2, including CO2 from Barossa gas project.
