The capacity expansion project of the Nederland’s Gate LNG receiving terminal is “progressing” as construction of its fourth LNG storage tank is 70% complete, Vopak said, adding that “the project is on track to be commissioned within budget and on-time in Q3 2026.”
According to the
Global LNG Database®, the Gate terminal’s expansion project consists of a new 180,000-CM LNG storage tank and additional 4 BCM/Y regasification capacity.
The terminal’s shareholders are Gasunie and Vopak.
The project’s main EPC contractors are VINCI Construction Grands Projets, Entrepose Contracting, Sener and Sacyr Proyecta.
