Some recent developments quoted from the Global LNG Database®:

* Construction of the new LNG terminals in Philippines, Hong Kong and China has been commenced.
|
* The LNG FSRU project in Puerto Rico and Qidong LNG terminal's second expansion project in China have been commissioned.
|
* Hai Linh LNG imports project in Vietnam is in the final stage of the construction and would be the country’s first LNG imports terminal.
|
* The Natural Gas Infrastructure Company of Cyprus (ETYFA) has issued notice to proceed with the international consortium awarded the contract to build the island’s maiden LNG import terminal in Vasiliko.
|
* BW Magna FSRU has arrived at the Brazilian Port Acu floating LNG imports terminal to start its contract serving GNA’s LNG-to-power project.
|
* GTT has received an order from DSME for the design of a new 263,000-CM FSRU on behalf of MOL. The FSRU delivery is scheduled for 2023 and will be located in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.

* Freeport LNG has delayed its target for making a FID on its fourth liquefaction train at least to next year, amid market and coronavirus pandemic-related challenges that have hurt development efforts.

* Four new LNG import terminal projects in China proposed respectively by Petrochina, Beijing Gas, CNPC and Sinopec have been added to the
Global LNG Database®.

By adding the new projects, up-to-date information of 416 LNG projects in the world are available in the Global LNG Database® including 140 on/offshore liquefaction facilities (on-stream: 53, under-construction: 14, planned: 51, under-study/proposed: 22) and also 276 on/offshore receiving & regasification facilities (on-stream: 144, under-construction: 33, planned: 79, under-study/proposed: 20).
