Global LNG Info has released the last update of the “World LNG Projects’ Status Monthly Report” also known as the globally-recognized-reference “World LNG Liquefaction Plants and Regasification Terminals Update List”.

Some recent developments quoted from the Global LNG Database®:

* Woodside said that it has pushed back a FID on Browse development project for the second time this year as FID is now planned for 2023.

|

* Woodside confirmed that it has pushed back a FID on Scarborough development and a second train at Pluto LNG project for the second time this year as it is now eyeing the second half of 2021 for FID on the project.

|

* Delfin LNG said that it is seeking from the FERC an additional 1-year extension to build the project’s onshore facilities until Sept. 2021, as it is struggling to secure offtake deals for its 13 MMT/Y of LNG project.
According to a FERC notice, the company is having difficulties to attract LNG buyers citing “global coronavirus pandemic, U.S. trade disputes with China, and the drop in global oil prices”.

* Two new floating LNG import projects in Ecuador and Poland have been added to the Global LNG Database®.

By adding the new projects, up-to-date information of 418 LNG projects in the world are available in the Global LNG Database® including 140 on/offshore liquefaction facilities (on-stream: 53, under-construction: 14, planned: 51, under-study/proposed: 22) and also 278 on/offshore receiving & regasification facilities (on-stream: 144, under-construction: 33, planned: 79, under-study/proposed: 22).
