Global LNG Info releases its Global LNG Database’s update (UP: July 2021)

By adding new LNG import/export projects and changing status of some current projects, up-to-date and perfect information of 556 LNG projects in the world are available in the Global LNG Database®.
Global LNG Info has released the latest update of the Global LNG Database® and it is now available for its subscribers after login.

 

By adding new LNG import/export projects and changing status of some current projects, up-to-date and perfect information of 556 LNG projects in the world are available in the Global LNG Database® including 138 land-based and 29 floating (FLNG) gas liquefaction facilities; 264 land-based and 125 floating LNG receiving & regasification facilities and FSRU which are on-stream, under-construction, planned or under-study/proposed.

 

Some summarized recent developments extracted from the Global LNG Database®:

 

LNG Export Projects

 

* Sempra LNG has scaled back plans to expand its Cameron LNG export plant, citing design innovations and the “high performance” of the existing three-train plant…

 

* Global LNG Info’s Analytics reported that the Woodside-proposed Pluto LNG Train 2 project’s nominal capacity would be shrunk from 8 MMT/Y to 5.3 MMT/Y (more).

 

* Sempra LNG is continuing to evaluate design changes at the Port Arthur LNG export project, such as switching to electric drives and sourcing electricity from renewable power to lower the facility’s emissions profile…

 

* Freeport LNG said that it could sign sufficient long-term contracts by the end of the year to sanction its LNG export plant’s fourth train. Earlier it had secured approval for a large Texas tax incentive supporting the $2.4 billion project to build its fourth train…

* InfraStrata has dropped plans for its floating LNG imports (FSRU) project in northwest England as “there was no longer a business case for the project”…

 

* European Commission approved €166.7 million ($ 198.9 million) Greek support measure for the construction of the Alexandroupolis LNG terminal...

 

* DESFA signed an ARCA agreement with Dioriga Gas for the construction of the connections between the Dioriga Gas’ proposed FSRU project and DESFA-operated NNGTS…
