According to the
Global LNG Database®, the 18.1 MMT/Y Golden Pass LNG export project’s partners are Qatar Petroleum International (QatarEnergy) 70.0%, ExxonMobil 30 %.
The under-construction project’s EPC contractors are Chiyoda, McDermott and Zachry.
Golden Pass LNG is continuing to carry out the project’s activities, such as storm water protection, levee construction, stockpiling of material, and piling, installation of piping and steel in process and utilities areas, continued walls and piping installation for the ground flares, while concrete foundation pours continued in Train 2 and Train 3.
ExxonMobile has also remarked that the US supermajor intends to address global need for LNG “by growing supply to about 27 MMT/Y by 2027” through “globally diverse portfolio of low-cost and capital-efficient developments.”
